WHY THIS FORMAT MAKES SENSE
Give small messes focused attention.
Work directly on the spot
A hand-guided cleaning tool lets you focus spray and extraction where the mess is. That is the central appeal for a marked sofa cushion or a small carpet spill: a localized job gets a localized cleaning approach.
Move between everyday surfaces
The carry handle and flexible hose make the format useful beyond a flat floor. For compatible upholstery, stair treads and vehicle fabric, you can position the machine nearby and work with the smaller tool in your hand.
Useful attachments, including aftercare
The reviewed bundle adds a Tough Stain Tool, Stain Trapper Tool and HydroRinse hose tool. That gives the kit more purpose than a single cleaning head: it also considers how you rinse the hose when the job is done.
FOR THE SPOT YOU KEEP NOTICING
A practical approach to sofa and upholstery cleanup.
A small mark on a favorite seat can be more noticeable than a larger patch elsewhere. The handheld attachment offers a focused way to approach that area without maneuvering an upright cleaning head across furniture.
We find the separation between the carried machine and the working tool especially useful in this format. The tanks stay in the main unit while you guide the hose attachment across the intended area. It is a straightforward design for close, deliberate work.
Think of it as a dedicated option for water-cleanable soft surfaces. Check the care label first, then follow the recommended solution and cleaning technique for the material.

What makes this kit worth considering?
Practical strengths
- Localized spray and suction for smaller carpet and upholstery messes.
- A handheld tool format for furniture, stair treads and compatible car fabric.
- Carry handle and 9.7 lb listed machine weight.
- 48 oz clean tank for a useful supply of cleaning solution.
- Specialty tools plus a dedicated hose-rinsing attachment.
Check before choosing
This is a corded machine requiring manual cleaning passes. It is not a steam cleaner or a substitute for every whole-room carpet-cleaning job. Confirm fabric suitability, regional electrical compatibility and the included accessories before ordering.
FROM THE LIVING ROOM TO THE CAR
One portable format, several useful jobs.
Carpet spots after a busy day
For a localized mark on a compatible rug or carpet, the smaller attachment lets you concentrate on the affected section. This is where a portable spot cleaner earns its place alongside a normal household vacuum.
Stair treads and awkward areas
Working with a hose tool gives you a different way to approach surfaces where a large floor head is inconvenient. Position the unit securely and work within the available hose reach, following the manual.
Fabric car-seat cleanup
The same format can be useful for compatible fabric vehicle interiors. The head is held directly against the chosen area, making it easier to focus on a small spill. Plan access to suitable power and allow the fabric to dry before using the seat.

A good fit for targeted cleanup
Consider this model if the recurring job is a small mess on a compatible soft surface. The strongest reason to choose it is the combination of portability and a hand-guided tool, rather than a headline tank number alone.
Compare another format for large areas
If your priority is cleaning entire carpeted rooms in a single session, compare a full-size carpet cleaner. If you need battery operation or steam, choose a model that explicitly provides that feature.
Make the included tools count
Before starting, identify each attachment and its purpose in the supplied manual. The 3-inch tool provides a small working head, while the HydroRinse attachment helps with hose rinsing after cleaning. The Stain Trapper adds another option for the messes covered by its instructions.
A manageable after-use routine
Empty and rinse the recovery tank, clean the used attachment and follow the hose-rinsing instructions. Let parts dry as directed before storage. Keeping the machine ready for the next small job is part of its everyday appeal.

BEFORE YOU BUY
Portable carpet cleaner FAQ.
What is the BISSELL Little Green 3353 designed to clean?
It is a portable spot cleaner for compatible carpet, rugs, upholstery, stairs and fabric car interiors. Check the surface care instructions before using water-based extraction.
Can I use it on a sofa or car seat?
Yes, if the fabric and its care instructions permit this cleaning method. Test an inconspicuous area first and follow the machine, formula and furniture or vehicle instructions. Do not assume it is suitable for leather or every delicate fabric.
Is this a steam cleaner or a cordless cleaner?
Neither. Model 3353 is a corded portable carpet and upholstery cleaner that uses cleaning solution, manual tool movement and suction. It is not advertised here as a steam cleaner.
Which tools are included?
The reviewed listing includes a 3-inch Tough Stain Tool, a Stain Trapper Tool and a HydroRinse Self-Cleaning Hose Tool. Check the selected offer for the current bundle contents.
What is the tank capacity?
BISSELL lists a 48-fluid-ounce clean tank and a 45-fluid-ounce dirty tank for model 3353. Follow the marked fill lines and empty the recovery tank as instructed.
Does HydroRinse clean the entire machine automatically?
No. The HydroRinse attachment is designed to help rinse the hose after use. The recovery tank and cleaning tools still require the care described in the manual.
Does it replace a full-size carpet cleaner?
Its main advantage is targeted cleaning of smaller areas and upholstery. If your main task is washing large rooms of carpet, a full-size machine may be a better match.
Is this a hands-on review?
No. This buying guide is based on the Amazon listing, BISSELL product information and authorized seller media reviewed on November 4, 2026. We have not measured stain removal, drying time or suction.
